All structures are supplied with foundation designs to suit a variety of soil conditions. These include slab, pad and column, bored pier and rock anchor foundations. A typical powerline construction project may utilise several different foundation designs over the line route depending on the results of geotechnical investigations and/or the ground conditions encountered on site.
Future foundation crews are all equipped with necessary plant, equipment and expertise to construct foundations in all ground conditions varying from wet sand to extremely hard rock.
